I can't say I'm a fan of anything WWF, WF, WE, WWE - Whatever its called now - but do know a bit about it as I was forced to sit thru it quite a few times during my placement.

One thing that is funny though is when Stone Cold does a Stunner on the Rock. The way The Rock goes does, gets back up again & flops down!! - Classic!!

Wrestling is not fake.

Yes, it's scripted and yes the punches and kicks meant to 'stun' the opponent so that one can perform a move are fake. BUT, that is where the fake bit ends and the real stuff starts. The majority of moves are quite dangerous in so much as if they are not performed properly, somebody can get hurt very seriously.

The physical toll that these athletes put on their bodies is unbelievable.

Anybody who saw Shane McMahon jump of the titantron onto the Big Show or saw Undertaker throw Mankind off the top of the Hell In A Cell would change their thoughts about wrestling being fake very quickly.

Brock lesnar managed to f5 the big show with a broken rib (this was real), angle was fighting with a damaged knee kap and love him or hate him triple h continued through the remains of a fight with his thigh muscel destroyed.

Some of the moves they pull off r very impressive & u have to be at peak athletical form to pull many of them off - Check out the Hardy Boys.

But you've gotta admit - those punches & slaps look crap.

Also The 'Most electrifying move in Sports Entertainment' is crap.
