I haven't really been into games for a while now but I have a friend who is and he told me that the PS3 chipset costs so much that they will initially selling the machines at a loss (presumably it is the development costs that caused it) which sounds ridiculous. I did see an HD video trailer for the new Metal Gear game and thought it looked very good. I have a PS2 but haven't really used it a lot lately, only have about a dozen games for it, but it does look like games are getting much better, albeit quite slowly.
