Why Stockholm?

I haven't been to many big cities and all of them are in Scandinavia or Germany (exept Strasbourg) so maybe I have to pick Cologne. It's been 6 years since I was there and I bought tons of clothes

Places I want to visit: Paris, Rome, Scotland, Moscow and Prague. Two of them are going to happen next summer. I think I will never ever go to America or Australia or Far East 'cause it would be a pain for me to sit in an aeroplane for 12 hours or so....

Best cities: London, closely followed by Christchurch; Ghent, Belgium; etc. etc.
Cities I'd like to visit: San Francisco, Venice, Barcelona (longer than just a two day visit like some years ago )... and lots of others, but there's still time

My favs:

The usual ones: Paris, London, Amsterdam & Dublin (though it took awhile to get used to it... It's small and dirty.

Others: Groningen (Hey, I liked it), Tallin, Stockhom in the summer, Helsinki...

Oh, and just for the record... Milton Keynes sucks big time. It's not really even a town and you can't get a taxi anywhere from the Bowl or near it. Try hitchhiking in the middle of the night. Not fun.

You don't have to go there in one go... Take shorter trips, visit other countries on the way...

So many people say the same thing about Dublin, that's true, it's a bit dirty But i like it in part because it's a small town for a capitale, and there's always something to do there. And Paris is really dirty you know

I think a lot of cities can be really dirty at times. Amsterdam is dirty in the winter... they tend to clean up everything just before all tourists arrive, to give the city a better image. You don't really want to visit Amsterdam right now as a tourist, it's one big mess. But surely it'll be better by the time of May or June... it's always like that.
I don't really remember Dublin as a dirty city, so I guess it really depends when you visit it

I can't ... i really don't like Paris
But i want to visit more of Ireland, my sister went to the Conemara (don't know how its called in english), i want to go there ! Sometimes it's a bit hard with the Irish accent (my son's godfather is Irish- it's funny because my son use to say he speaks strangely ), but in the shops or in the pubs, there's an international language

my favorites towns are London and New york...I have some fantastic memories of london during the seventies..and it's still a 'groovy' town..beautiful also..and new york is gorgeous..I went three times to new york..
(paris is a superb historic town..but for me quite boring..I know Paris very well as I was born there...had my scholarship there..my jobs etc..Now I am in a small town in the center of france...also very very boring.. )
