I can honestly say Jon who's lyrics I will analyze to death.

For books--when I was younger I read every book I could find by Lurlene McDaniel. I also enjoyed the Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew series. I used to read 4 or 5 books a day during the summers. As an older teen, I read a lot of Roseanne Bittner's books. College cured me of the desire to read for leisure. LOL Actually, I'm getting back into it, but I haven't found a new favorite writer.

I'm rather fond of the books I wrote myself though.

One I wrote as a teenager and don't have the guts to send to a publisher. I don't want it to get ripped to shreds. It's my BABY and I like it the way it is. LOL The other is for the Quantum Leap series, and just my luck, the series got discontinued about the time I finished it. So, it's up on line at my website. In fact, that's the reason I have a website. I had let some friends and fans of the show read it and they were like, "You HAVE to get this published!" but I couldn't. So, I put it up in the tradition of fan fiction and it's free for the world to see. I've gotten some of wonderful comments from people who read it, so it makes me feel good. I'm glad I got over my shyness enough to share it. Several people have told me it's the best fan fic they ever read or it's better than any of the ones published and it makes me absolutely giddy. I guess I'm an applause junkie. LOL I just can't believe people actually LIKE it, ya'know. It's a huge thrill.

I think the idea to put it on your site is the best thing you could have done 'to go against" your shyness. I hope it will help you to find confidence in yourself about this work . (I hope you can understand )

Roald Dahl rocks!!!!!! I read those books in my late childhood and adored them. He was a pretty good poet, too. Plus, his books tought me that there is more than just one way to spell a word. Before that I had no idea that English English (as opposed to American English) existed. He set me straight.

Yes, I understand. Thank you! It really has helped because the positive feedback makes me feel like I did something good.

I also absolutely loved Quentin Blake's illustrations
