Well, I'm thinking that this could very well be my second favorite album of all-time. Right behind American Idiot. Green Day is just doing great stuff and I hope they can keep it going. My favorites are...

American Idiot - Green Day
21st Century Breakdown - Green Day
Daughtry - Daughtry
Keep The Faith - Bon Jovi
Viva La Vida - Coldplay
Futures - Jimmy Eat World

It's weird that 5 of my top 6 or from 2004 to now. I'm just connecting with music on a different level I guess. There are some really underrated albums in the past 5-6 years. Key point to this, Green Day's last two records are my favorite albums of all-time. Weird.

Yea, I will always remember that play. It's close and a tough call. Sometimes the cards fall your way, sometimes they don't!

Haven't heard the album yet, but was watching their Abbey Road session on TV the other night - and the song 21 guns is awesome.

I have a few Green Day albums pre-American Idiot and they didn't really do it for me - the occasional song, like Time Of Your Life. But then American Idiot came out and was great, and this album, from the few songs I've heard, sounds on par with that at least.

But I think this is just a case of a band finding their peak at the moment, just like Jovi did with Keep The Faith and These Days.

I bought tickets for the October Rotterdam show, but after I heard the new album, I'm definately considering selling off the tickets again. The new album is terrible.
