Damn you guys got give me novocaine and 2000 lightyears away, two personal favorites... Your setlist was very new song heavy. 16 songs from the most recent 2 albums.... Usually it's about 50/50 for newer songs vs. Older songs.

Watch Manchester tonight get all of 21st century breakdown.... The concert is over by now I think, so only time will tell...

Wow.... I saw the setlist......

Did Green Day open for themselves as foxboro Hottubs or something? Because it said that they started with 4 Foxboro Hottubs songs, and then took a break, and then the usual Song Of The Century/21stCB came on. I heard part of Mother Mary at my gig.... my favorite FH song.... I wish I could have heard the whole thing...

And looks like they played Last Night On Earth as well... and 7 American Idiot songs.....

yeah we got last night on earth and that was one i really wanted to hear, as you know i want it playing at my wedding, so was a very intimate moment.

They came on as the FBHT and then went off for 10-15 mins, came back on as Green Day with song of the century.

Oh hun it was just amazing!
We got, (in no particular order lol) give me novocane, american idiot, JOS, are we the waiting, holiday, st jimmy, boulevard of broken dreams and Wake me up when sept ends. so that's 8 off american idiot! And king for a day was just the bollocks!!

I agree.. They've played some album cuts from it recently... Scattered and worry rock... Nimrod has to be my 3rd favorite studio album after 21CBD and AI....

And jons favorite album from the 21st century was American Idiot...

Would have loved to have got Scattered in Birmingham... Has that bittersweet feeling that so many of the best songs do. Really pretty moving. My favourite of the record.

Not quite as good, but All The Time, Nice Guys, even the Grouch would have all been good to hear. Though I guess not quite in keeping with the theme of their recent work/current public image.

Green day released a live EP on itunes the other day.

Definatly not their best performance, and I don't understand why they choose Tokyo, but whatever. The crowd is NOT into it at all either. However, it's worth the $5 I think. And I'm glad they put last of the American girls on there. That song has really been growing on me lately.

The track listing is: (all live from Tokyo)

1. 21st century breakdown
2. Last of the American girls
3. 21 guns
4. American eulogy
5. Basket case
6. Geek stink breath
