joey krammer said a convention this week that 'it's only a matter of time' before tyler leaves rehab and re-joins the band in the studio. maybe they've sorted their shit out?

That's so strange... When I heard a while ago that Tyler quits Aerosmith my jaw dropped... the unbelievable. Then I heard about joining Perry on stage, saying he doesn't quit and my world was good again. Now I just read those interviews and I see there's a lot going on behind the curtains... really sounds like Tyler's on drugs or something. Umph.

They got through a 40 year long history, one should think that would make them sort issues out when they come along. Well, I hope they will.... having another singer could never be the same thing, even if it's 4 out of 5 members. Even the new Queen with Paul Rogers never worked for, even though Rogers does a fantastic job. But it's not Queen at all. Freddie Mercury was too much of a trademark singer. And so is Tyler. Please sort things out guys... and finish that album I am desperately waiting for!

I was a bit shocked to read that they never liked their commercial songs? And really, since 1987 when they started having hits with those songs it was a different band. But not in a bad way. I always thought they'd enjoy stuff like "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" or "Cryin'" - it's commercial in the means of success, but not selling out stuff (like those crafted songs they put on their 2002 "O Yeah Hits"-compilation, "Girls Of Summer" and "Lay It Down", they just felt written after a formula). Those "commercial" songs are so much a trademark of Aerosmith since 1987, and they were very unique. Only on "Just Push Play" they kind of pushed it a bit too far.

Another thing I stumbled over was a quote from John Kalodner:

"I told Jon Bon Jovi years ago that he should work with people in Nashville and he did and you see the success they had."

So, whose idea was it now???

He did? Hopefully! I want to hear this album, and I want to see this band live again.

Btw, anybody knows a site that has archives of their setlists?

Yeah, I read that as well a few days ago. I do vaguely remember Jon talking about how Kalodner told them to go to Nashville, but I'm not 100% sure about it though.

Bon Jovi going to Nashville worked better than Bon Jovi making a rock record though. Lost Highway is a better country/rock album than The Circle is a pop/rock album.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Scroll down and choose the tour. This was, however, stopped being updated after the Rockin' The Joint Tour.

But don't worry, here's another up-to-date one.

Enjoy
