looks like the replacement singer idea still has legs. joe perry has said they'll be movement within the next month and then the band will hit the road. he expects tyler to be out of action for around 18-24 months.

Sick of Aerosmith now. They tell you one thing, then another etc. and it's really starting to annoy me.

It seems like Perry and co. doesn't want to continue with Steven than Steven wants to quit. I just don't understand why they can't wait till he gets alright. They are on tour every year, doing some co-headlining tours like other stale nostalgia bands like Def Leppard, Poison etc. Do they need to go on tour again? Who will go to an Aerosmith show without Steven? I don't get this at all.

They should take some break, then release a new album at last and then go on a world tour.

I agree, are they so desperate of money?

But in Queen's case they haven't been touring since 1986 and their original singer was not available anymore - Tyler is!
