Brian May used to be cool but nowadays he's no better than Jon Monkey Makin' Jovi.

But hey look at Queen....they did alright on their tour without Freddie...god know how but they did.
But Queen, that's a completely different case. It wasn't about replacing Freddie and going on tour. It just happened that Brian, Roger and Paul found out the chemistry between them while performing. And it was a celebration of loving the music and touring. And it was Queen + Paul Rodgers and not Queen.

I DO LOVE Queen and I have enjoyed the QPR project so much because I see what was behind. I feel sorry for the people who are so narrow minded and see Paul as replacement (I'm not speaking about you asok80!!).

And what are you pointing at?

I was ranting about the QPR project and how good it was.. on the other hand I do not want them to do anything with Adam Lambert. He butchered their song and I simply don't like him doing Queen stuff. that doesn't mean he is not a good singer.
I think they'Re quite often at shows like X Factor or Pop Idol. Well, I always have the great feeling when I see them perform - like their permormance on the last X Factor series - when they just appeared playing!! It's the feeling like: WOW, the legends are there!!

Honestly - I would love to see a solo BM or just BM and RT tour. The shows could be shorter to make it easier to them to sing it and play it. Both guys are amazing musicians and deliver great experience. Oh man, the shape Roger was in during the last tour. Amazing.

That's ok Johny. .-) BUT there were discussions over a very long period of time who to replace for a tour, so this was not just that they found someone that they could work with they really wanted to tour with Queen and needed a singer so I do feel that they cashed in on that. Anyhow! to get backt o Aerosmith

I read today that Joe Perry's hooked up with different singers to replace Tyler on this tour...
it feels like Perry doesn't want to wait for Tyler to clean up. I think they should pack it in
altogether.

Have you thought about the possibility that maybe it's Tyler who doesn't want to get clean?

The drum solo alone on the last tour was worth the ticket price! Roger is true Legend. He just released a great new song called "Unblinking Eye" . He will tour with Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters soon! (but as it seems only Uk!=?!)

Aerosmith are finished.
Perry tells Classic Rock this month that he and Tyler havent wrote a song toghether for 10 years and that the last few albums have been average.
He hates Just Push Play - it was recorded with none of the band members in the same room.

For the recent gigs in abu dahbi (spell check!) Tylers dressing room was 3 hours away from the rest of the band!

Tyler wants to do solo records but the label wont let him. They have insisted on a new Aerosmith album - not a GH or Live album - a new album but everytime they are due to go into studio Tyler cancels it.
