Yeah! Bowie is great! I love his late 70s albums (inc. Scary Monsters).
Sound And Vision might be the most funky song ever

Yeah I was a fan long ago. I just saw him on David Gilmours recent DVD taking Roger Waters part on Comfortably Numb and he sounds as bad as Roger does these days. Gilmour on the other hand sounds superb.

I guess some people keep their voices a lot longer than others.

My dad is a huge huge huge fan of bowie, so i like most of his stuff through my dad.
His newer stuff i do prefer than his old, he needs to do a new one after such a long break through that heart attack though

I love Bowie. ****ing quality music.

Kathleen: On the Reality Tour DVD his voice seemed pretty good, some songs were rearranged so that he could sing them lower (something that us Jovi fans are used to, lol) but generally he sang pretty well. Has he really deteriorated that much?

I guess it depends on your perspective. If you say - wow - it's David Bowie with David Gilmour - cool. It may not bother you too much.

If you are like me though, and the music is most important, the song would have been better off without David Bowie at all. Let Gilmour sing it as he can so well.
