Default any Thunder fans here?

They have a new album out called Shooting at the Sun which ROCKS, it's in the shops tomorrow.

I can't wait for their tour in May...

Sun 18th May - Glasgow Academy
Mon 19th May - Manchester Academy
Tue 20th May - Nottingham Rock City
Thu 22nd May - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Fri 23rd May - London Astoria
Sat 24th May - Cambridge Corn Exchange

I'll be going to my 4th and 5th shows. Is anyone else going to the London Astoria or Cambridge Corn Exchange?

check out their website http://www.thunderonline.com

Cool! A lot of fans are talking about where they'll meet pre-show, there are some good rock pubs round by the Astoria apparantly, so we'll probably head to them, how about you?

I'm hoping to be meeting up with a few ppl before the gig, details aren't finalised yet though, I'm sure by the time I've been to Manchester and Wolves, I'll know!

Everyone's organising on the message board - I'll just keep an eye out. PM me if you want to arrange something

No-one else?...

The guys need all the support they can get at the moment, the success of this tour has a lot riding on it regards their future. Full details about this are on their website. Like many other decent rock bands, they get really poor radio play, (despite the fact that they had some big hits, have a great new single 'Loser' & they haven't sold out musically and still have class.)

Their live shows are great fun and reminiscent of a Jovi gig (although nothing and no-one matches that - even with a stagnant setlist haha!) Danny has an amazing voice, Luke is something of a guitar god!!! I defy anyone who likes good music to go to a gig and come away unimpressed or not feeling good about life lol

Ok, I have to say one word WOW!

I caught Thunder live again this past week (I was lucky - the tour ended up sold out ) and although they've been away for nearly 3 years - God, this band can perform! The music is great, but the live performance blew me away, I'd forgotten how good they were

I can't believe there aren't more Thunder fans on this board - I mean these guys seriously know how to play and they are also the best band I've ever known of for listening to and looking after their fans. I mean, how many bands do you know that actually listen and action their fan's opinions regarding setlists? Or bands that do a fan meet and greet after every show - even festivals? Its just a shame they don't get the recognition and respect they deserve - even though the new single "Loser" got to number 3 in the Rock Chart with absolutely no radio support!

They are touring again in November and I recommend any self respecting rock fan gets their backside to their nearest show to find out for themselves what a cracking band this is! The gig at the Astoria has already gone on sale - www.ticketweb.co.uk - for £18.50 you can't get a better night out. Go on....... try it!
