Might aswell mention that I am a Skid Row fan. (The Sebastian Bach albums anyway) Not really heard much of the new stuff but what I have heard has been ok. Their first album is easily their best and is one of my all time favourite rock albums. It's just consistant throughout, no weak tracks anywhere. Slave To The Grind is awesome aswell, but IMO suffers with a few fillers (only a few mind), and I like Subhuman Race. Different, but good-different.
I'm guessing those who didn't like this album are the same people who didn't like Def Leppard's Slang or Mötley Crüe's self-titled album with John Corabi. I've played a few Subhuman Race tracks to a few anti-80's rock fans and they were quite impressed. Wouldn't mind a live DVD with the original line-up though.
