At Last A New KISS Album

For anyone who may be interested KISS have a new album titled Sonic Boom released on October 6th.It will be exclusive to Walmart in the US and will come as part of a three disc package,the new album,the re recorded classics and a live DVD.
The new album is getting some pretty decent reviews,cant wait to see them tour to support the album..

I,m hoping they,ve re-recorded the old songs like COLD GIN/DEUCE etc with a heavier guitar sound. ACE FREHLEY has said all along that they should but obviously he wont get the chance now. Not sure if I,m looking forward to a new KISS album though,I thought PSYCHO CIRCUS was a bit poor tbh.

As some kind of fan I can tell you:
a) the title are just rumours
b) the re-recorded album is already out since some months

I am looking forward to it. Yeah I know, it's not the original line-up, Simmons is a greedy bastard blabla But I think they are good musicians especially the other "new" half Eric Singer and Thommy Thayer are really amazing

Psycho circus promised so much,the originals back together,what a load of twaddle.Ghost musicians and a producer who was too far up GSimmons backside,meant it would always be below par.This time its just the band playing and Paul producing,i predict a masterpiece.

That is good news indeed, looking forward to the album.

Ace will also have a new album by september, can't wait for this one too.

I like Psycho circus, it has 4 really great tracks (the title track, within, into the void, journey of 1000 years)

Sonic Boom IS the official title and the re-rerecordings were released in Japan only.

And I AM looking foward to this disc, but if I hear Tommy trying to play like Ace, I probably won't get past the first song without getting annoyed. Which saddens me, because I really want a new Kiss album.

Is it the offical name now? But it really doesn't matter for now. It's just a strange name.. I always think about a fighter jet if i hear these words

Psycho Circus is not that bad. It's just that on some parts Ace was replaced by Thommy. I like the overall sound and production. It has some balls and a big warm sound like Jovi should have sometimes..

Actually, Ace only played on 3 tracks (Psycho Circus, Into the Void, You Wanted the Best), and Peter only played on Into the void.

Still a good album, the title track really rocks.
