I forgot to post here after the KISS gig a couple weeks ago. It was actually pretty good, even though I only knew 5 songs. I'm suprised 60 year olds still have energy like that. Anyway, does gene simmons wife usually atend these concerts? Because she was in the front row, and also a friend got a picture with her.

Only Gene is 60, others are younger. But still, they show the young bands how it's done. I'd like to see Jon try the stuff the guys in KISS do every night.

And no, Shannon's not usually at the shows.

I'd rather not. At least Jon can still sing if he wants to.

I know you saw a bad show, but they can still sing. And Paul doesn't dodge the high notes either, like Jon does.

And I was referring to the jumping and running and all the cool effects. Jon barely walks on the stage these days and Richie doesn't move at all.

I'd rather pay for a KISS show than a Bon Jovi "show".

fact. In comparison Kiss shows are more dynamic (let's cut the effects away) and they never slow down any song.

i just read the WWWB book and there is Jon's quote: something like he's never jumping on what is trendy and Bon Jovi music is just what they are. When I look at the Circle and the recent "masterpieces": Lie
Kiss followed their way, even got the characters with a big ego in there and that "old fashioned" sound is still not dated.
