Default Beatles albums: stereo or mono?

I just realised I haven't got all Beatles albums and I need to change that. I'm thinking of getting them in mono. I guess it suits the music way better than the remastered versions.
Since I don't have a vinyl player I have to get the CDs. To those of you who have got the CDs: Do you have the mono-versions or the stereo-versions?

Thanks

I have the stereo box set as I personally would prefer stereo to mono hands down, but I guess if you're a much more organic hard-core Beatles fan then the mono box set would suit you. Some of the later albums were only ever in stereo though, so if you went for the mono box set you'd still be missing the last few. (Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and Let It Be)

Iīve given this a lot of thought. Yet I still donīt seem to be able to decide whether to buy the mono or stereo versions. On their early albums, Iīve always considered the stereo versions to sound unnatural. But thatīs not the case on the later albums.

Iīve got all the albums on vinyl and I own the CDs released in the 80īs. I still havenīt bought the remasters.

I don't have any in mono because I'm too lazy to seek them out but it's worth noting that their pre-"Sgt. Pepper's" albums were all mixed in mono, with very little attention paid to the stereo mixing processs. This is why the earlier albums (even "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul") sound kinda weak with all the instrumental panning. Still the greatest albums ever made though.

At that time, The Beatles could do no wrong.
