Best recent British acts?

i've seen them a couple of times and the only savign grace that band have is alcoholic.

probably wouldn't be so bad if james walsh didn't come across as a total prick but i'm reliably informed that he's actually a really nice guy.

their 1st album was out more than a decade ago. good stuff but looooooong past their sell by date.
