Default Best Whitesnake Album?

What do you think is their best album?

For me, at the moment it's between Slide It In and The Definitive Collection. Although Come an' get It is very good too.
Live In the heart of the City has also been recomended to me as being a great one too!

1987 has Still Of The Night so I choose it. That and Slip Of The Tongue are the only ones I have heard.

Starkers In Tokyo, I love that album. But I do love all the Whitesnake albums. They rock!

Slip of the Tongue is more of an embarassment than it is Whitesnake. It's saving grace is Judgement Day, Sailing Ships and Deeper The Love.

If those are the only two albums you have heard...you might try Slide It In. I'm not saying that cuz it's my pick...it's more because if you like Still of the Night...you might be floored by Slow An Easy. It's one of those songs that you hear and wonder how the hell it wasn't a huge hit. Slide It In as a whole is easily digested by people who know Whitesnake from 1987 and Slip of the Tongue. The rest may be far too bluesy for those who expect a hair metal sound from them.

As for Donna....Live In the Heart of the City is definately worth checking out....though like KISS' Alive....it's even more enjoyable when you know the studio versions of the songs so you can hear the difference.

I'm not too familiar with the early snake but I became a fan of them after John Sykes joined.

Slide it in and Whitesnake are classics.
Slip of the tongue is pretty good too.

Check out Restless Heart...thats got some killer songs in it although the album fizzles out after the first half.

1987 is my favourite.

It's like what Slippery When Wet is to Bon Jovi, 1987 is to Whitesnake IMO.
