I also enjoyed hearing Jack of All Trades which is my favorite Wrecking Ball track thus far.
Same. Jack of all Trades is my favorite as well.

I salute you,

Death To My Hometown sounds superb live, it's sure to be a highlight of every concert.

I'm not too keen about the fake clap sounds Max triggers during it and Wrecking ball though.

Album spoilers i guess (highlight to see! Just a few thoughts on the album;
We Take Care Of Our Own is a cracking song, i really cant wait to hear that one live.
I like Rocky Ground until the rap - what on earth ...
Wrecking Bell, land of hope and dreams are brilliant
The only song im not fond of is Jack of All Trades - the version on Jimmy Fallon was very good - the song just doesn't do anything for me.

Ha! I think JOAT is the best song on the album by far. WTCOCO is fine for me, doesnt do much to me. Rocky Ground until the rap, just as you said. For me the album would have been even better if the EST-BAND played the instruments. There's too much drumcomputer for my liking and the sound that makes does not have any emotion or purity in it.

But this album compaired to WOAD my opinion is that this album is 3000% better.

I salute you,
TS

These two points are very true, the drum machine gets highly annoying at points but compared the WOAD i'd take this album anyday!

Roll on the tour!

As a drummer I'm usually opposed to drum machines and drum loops but I don't think they detract from the songs on Wrecking Ball, if anything they add a contemporary feel to the more folksy songs.

Bruce knows what he's doing and I think he was right to record this album without The E Street Band. Magic was a superb album but WOAD sounded jaded and generic.

This Depression is slowly becoming my favourite, but the double whammy of Rocky Ground and LOHAD has to be the highlight of the album for me.

A real drumhit has more depth in the sound. A drum computer sounds too flat for me but then again, the horns that you can hear in several songs make up for it and the more I listen to the album the more it grows on me. The message Bruce is sending out is crystal clear again!

I salute you,
TS
