It makes the gold circle vibrant too because everyone in there queued for hours and obviously are die hards who are up for it. Gold Circle at Bon Jovi shows are full of people who just paid more and the atmosphere suffers.

Soooo I pretty much saw one of the best shows of my life. Bruce was absolutely killer live. I don't understand how he does it.

Some highlights

-He crowd surfed through the pit. My hand literally was on his bum. My hand had a firm grasp on his butt cheek. I will never wash it again.

-Racing In The Street is one of my favorite Bruce songs and was played. Hot Diggity. Never thought that had a chance. Absolutely beautiful version.

- This being my first Bruce gig, I had no idea what to expect. The man was screaming, singing and going full tilt for 3 straight hours. He was in the crowd for a good portion of the gig, brought a kid on stage for Waitin' on a Sunny Day, Danced with an 80 year old woman for Dancing in The Dark and brought someone on stage for Santa Clause is Coming To Town.

-The kid who was brought on stage happened to be standing behind us during the lineup for the pit. She borrowed my phone for 20 minutes to look up the lyrics to Waiting On A Sunny Day. She was 11 years old. She memorized them, and I was so stoked to see her get pulled on stage.

-Makes me realize why Bon Jovi and Bruce get compared all the time. Jon has the potential to be this good live, but rarely is. This was a fantastic show.

Shackled and Drawn
Out in the Street
Hungry Heart
We Take Care of Our Own
Wrecking Ball
Death to My Hometown
My City of Ruins
Spirit in the Night
Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?
Red Headed Woman
Streets of Fire
Because the Night
She's the One
Cover Me
Darlington County
Waitin' on a Sunny Day
Raise Your Hand
The Rising
Badlands
Land of Hope and Dreams
* * *
Racing in the Street
Radio Nowhere
Born to Run
Dancing in the Dark
Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
Tenth Avenue Freeze-out

I don't have the best camera, and I only took a few photos as I was focused on just enjoying the show:

Wow Erik! You were standing on a really great spot there!
Good to hear you had so much fun there! I know the feeling!

Paul and Bruce in 2 nights. Could you ask for more this year?

I salute you,
TS

That's one of the first things people say after they've seen Bruce for the first time "How does he do it?"

The difference between him and Jon (and anyone else) is that he goes out with the a single minded approach to playing live, which is to give 100% and play until he's given his all. The man never has an off night and physically and vocally pushes himself EVERY SINGLE SHOW. The likes of Jon give their all on the rare occasion they can be bothered and probably couldn't do it every night if they tried. No one expects a 63 year old man to be running around and jumping into the crowd for three hours but he does it anyway. He's the hardest working front man I've ever witnessed.

Bruce is a wonder and you have to see it to believe it.

I am quoting you just because I think it needs to be repeated LOL. The man is incredible.

I am glad you enjoyed the show Erik and I'm glad you got to see him live at at the top of his game. He is a bit different than he was when he was younger, but I can't honestly say that he was any better than he is now.
