Yup. One part that jumped out at me was the comment on how he doesn't look at yesterday's gig or tomorrow's gig, he's only interested in todays. Jon should take note instead of picking and choosing which shows he decides to turn up for.

We went last night also. Jim's quote above was what I really took away from the whole thing aside from enjoying the clips from Hyde Park. The whole interviews and stories thing was only OK if you ask me but the music.......ah yes, the music........

The epilogue of the documentary was indeed brilliant but not all the stories sounded that interesting to me. There are better stories in my opinion but hey, I wasn't the one selecting them

The cardiff show looks amazing! I am glad that I had a good show in Holland but this tour just wants to make you tour with Bruce to be able to witness all concerts

I salute you,
TS

I thought there was a great spread of stories.

If it had been 90 minutes full of "I got onstage with Bruce" type stuff it would have got really old fast.

You got great stories like the Elvis dude

You got an insight into how Bruce and his music had touched people's lives (I really liked the American couple that had clearly been through hard times but seemed so in love and so happy when talking about Bruce) I also thought the English dude who had to endure his wife's Bruce obsession was hilarious.

and you got to hear what Bruce meant to people.

I may have had the help of a few beers in the cinema but I thought the thing from start until Paul ****ing McCartney turned up was great.

It is funny how everyone watches it differently.
I was with a group of guys who thought the american couple had nothing to add to the documentary. If that is already good material enough to be in something like that it shows to me how few good clips they got sent. They ask for everyone to make a video and in the end only around 8 videos are used?

The story about Elvis was cool. I already knew the story about Elvis being on the stadium and singing completely out of line with the music but did not know the story of that man himself.

The English guy indeed did bring a comic touch to the documentary.

I salute you,
TS
