Aloha !

Open Road was a direct rip off from Run To You, and the rest of the album was just more of the same really. He hadn't made an album in over 5 years and the best he could come up with was Room Service, an album that was filled with songs that wouldn't have made it as b-sides on the 18 Til I Die singles.

Agreed. Room Service is one of the weakest albums I own, and I have a LOT of CD's. Surprising considering the 6 year gap from On A Day Like Today. (Unless you wanna count the Spirit soundtrack)

As much as I may complain about Bon Jovi's recent offerings (not that I do that much anyway), they're alot better than Bryan's recent material.

Aloha !

I just listened to the new single for the first time, and although the music is alright, the lyrics are way too over the top. You just can not be seriously rhyming the stuff :

"I like the way we are - I love what we've become"

with

"When I'm in your arms - I know I've found the one"

Does anyone else really ever write songs like that? I mean, if I'd wrote that down and show it to a girl, she'd think I'd take the piss out of her.

Wasnt impressed with the single!!

But i'll get the album and form an opnion then.

u ca listen to 10second snippets of some songs from the album on his official website. I gave them a listen, and to be fair, they were a bit better than what I was expecting. Granted they're still only short clips of song and I only listened to each of them once, but they were decent. It looks like 11's shaping up to be an improvement (of sorts) on Room Service.

I've heard a live version of the single from one the casino shows he did in North America and like usual the album version does not do any justice to the way the song is performed. If only he'd recorded the song like a rock song and would have improved the lyrics a bit it could've been a proper Bryan Adams classic.

I'm still not impressed with the snippets. Yes it sounds better than Room Service, but that wasn't really that difficult to achieve.

Well as of 2 hours ago, the full album has leaked onto the internet. Carli advised me not to download it or listen to it though Hehehe Can *I* wait 4 ****in days?
