no photo's m'dear. woulda looked uber gay if i did on account of me being a nice fellow and taking my bro's seat so he could sit next to his girlfriend. Only guy in the full section dancing away AND taking photos? ich bin think so

was an experience to say the least. Pretty different to what I'm used to at a gig. V supported. didnt even bother going in the auditorium to see them so I was serenaded over a couple of really expensive pints. It perplexes me as to how I can stand drinking in the foyer bit surrounded by kids but I can't actually take it to the seats because "there's kids in there" I shoulda really punched the security guard for that one but I just pointed out the idiocy of that statement as 3 hyperactive kids danced around my feet. V really seemed to be pushing the fact one of them knows a coupla chords on an acoustic guitar cos it pretty much drowned out the backing tracks.

but i digress.

I don't know exactly what I was expecting but Busted were definetely up there as far as live bands go. Good production. no messing about really just play the songs, make a wee comment, let the screams die down, rinse and repeat.

By the end of the gig the fact that i was forced to drink incredibly fast so i didnt miss too much plus I was trying to impress some lovely looking ladies ( who were all legal before anyone starts ) meant I was up dancing and singing without shame (or dignity) If you don't sit like a miserable prick at things like these being all self conscious then you have a much better time.

They had another dude playing guitar and I think they had someone doing keys for samples n stuff but the sound was huge and they can all really ****ing sing man. I've often defended their singing cos ive heard them before but they impressed me even more last night.

matty jay (all the way ) came out himself at one point and covered should i stay or should i go now.

I couldnt help but smirk at the fact i was surrounded by kids jumping around to the clash and no doubt half the school population of glasgow will be running around tellign their mates about this class new busted song they played last night

even managed to make it back to my local for a swift pint before the death. God bless promoters taking into account bed times

and guys. apart from me and my bro i saw 1 other guy our age (who was absolutely wrecked and with his girlfriend) now you can say what you want about that fact but IMO being the only single guy in amongst several thousand girls can only be a good thing especially when they're hormones are raging

i'll definetely be seeing them when they roll around next year

Good to hear you had a nice time :P
I'm not a huge fan, but lately I've started to like a few songs on A Present For Everyone

there's a handful of crackign tunes on that. There's 1 or 2 stupid pointless cheesy fillers but it's surprising quite how accomplished some of the stuff is, the production is top class and if it was a little less poppy produced, maybe less samples and harmonies then I seriously doubt many people could tell the difference between it and any other decent rock band.

I especially like "Meet You There" and "Can't Break Thru".
Still can't stand "Air Hostess" though

I got their album last Christmas as a gift from charming, but rather out of touch relatives… still not really been remotely tempted to take it out the packaging yet… maybe I should go an see what it’s all about

have a listen without worryign about the fact it's busted. I'm pretty sure there's at least a coupla tracks on it you'll like.

For it having 15 or 16 odd songs on it, i skip less tracks than i do on the darkness album.
