Default Chris Cornell has died

He played in Detroit last night. The death is under investigation. Age 52.

Me neither - this was someone that my kids introduced me to in the 90s. I still think of him as young (compared to me of course). So sad.

I saw him a bunch of times and he was my second favorite artist around '09 and '10... his catalog is so diverse, his vocal abilities were off the charts, and he was a true artist...

Very sad, truly one of the best voices in rock history. He was an amazing talent.

Man that sucks. He's way too young and family is left behind. So tragic.

I was never a fan of Soundgarden (nor grunge in general), but I'm a geek about vocals and he was easily one of the most recognizable and impressive singers of his time.

It might have had more to do the antidepressant he was taking -- at least, that's the family's story. They can cause paranoid or suicidal thoughts in the course of trying to cheer you up. Oh, and Soundgarden was due to headline a festival this weekend...
