They got swallowed up with Poison, Bango Tango, and Britney's Fox. No one confused them with Bon Jovi.

I have got myself an album of theres. I ordered it, I think its 'Night Songs' or something like that. Night something, anyway. Gypsy Road is a pretty cool song.

Yeah I havent found anything about Jon saying what he thinks of them now, and its a pity they failed, but I did hear about a comeback tour, its on their Wiki page.
Gypsy Road is on their second album, Long Cold Winter. Night Songs is the debut.

Huh?

Bon Jovi is the definitive hairband.

It's funny to see you're calling hairbands "mediocre" when you're on a Bon Jovi board.

Several of these Hair Metal musicians are more talented and respected than Bon Jovi.

Best regards,
the Sexx

Where did I say they are medicore?

I regard Bon Jovi as a hair band as much as I do Def Leppard. They started something that was turned into an unflattering joke by far less imitators. Bon Jovi moved on very quickly where those bands did not.

Yeah, they haven't released a new album since 1994. But they've been touring and releasing live albums and compilations since 1997-8 onwards with a few breaks because of Tom's voice problems.

But you can't really call it a comeback, since they weren't away. They just don't have a record contract and Keifer isn't too interested in making a Cinderella album anyway.

Its no wonder he suffers with his voice with the way he sings. They did some good songs though. Just been on youtube to remind myself of their songs and its a shame they did not manage to carry on making more music.

I agree on the voice thing, always thought it was a contrived effort and cant have done him much good in the throat department. Saw them a couple of times,(once supporting BJ at donington) and enjoyed them but cant listen to them much anymore.

Is anyone from here going to Download? I'm considering it. Day tickets are now available. The Aerosmith day is £75. Might go the whole hog though as I wouldn't mind seeing AC/DC either.

what a great ballad. Keifer was one of my favorite vocalists from back in the day along with Jon and Sebastian Bach.
