Default Counting Crows New Album

Don't know if anyone else here likes the band, but just got my copy of Saturday Nights/Sunday Mornings and although I haven't listened to it all yet, the first half surprised me with how much it rocks. Sounds like they've gone all punk-ish, but then the 2nd half sounds like the usual spectacular Counting Crows.

Have to give it a proper listen, but I'm liking it so far.

Just wish they were playing their own show in Scotland and not just playing festivals

Glad to see someone else is a Counting Crows fan!

I read some reviews before the record was released, so I wasn't all too surprised to hear the first six tunes rock. And the second half is just as good. I'm really liking "Le Ballet D'Or" on that half of the record.

As of now, my favorite tracks (not in order) are:
"Los Angeles"
"Cowboys"
"When I Dream of Michaelangelo"
"Le Ballet D'Or"

Hanging Tree's my favourite at the moment, but still haven't got through the whole album yet. Only just get to the sunday mornings part and then have to go and do something.

Next time, I'll start from that end, I think.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

BAR STEWARD!!!!!

I wanted to go but just can't afford it with already going to see BJ and Linkin Park.

Still, if I come into money I might see if I can grab some tix from e-bay.
