Just unpacked my copy now. The CD itself is housed in a slightly larger-than-usual digipack which was kind of expected. I'm too tired to play it or properly read the mag, but I'll give it a proper listen tomorrow.

Listened to it twice so far. I can already feel this has the most replay value since Euphoria. Definitely a solid release all the way through. The only negative for me is that it's so constant that it's a bit hard to pick a highlight. It's also bugging me to know who sings what on We Belong.

I think it goes Joe, Phil, Sav, Viv then Rick. The alternative version is just Joe singing, which I think I prefer.

Had 1 and a half listens so far in the car yesterday. Far too early for me to say what the verdict is but I'm liking the album so far. The band weren't lying when they said the album was diverse. You think you know what you're in for then before you know it, the album takes you by surprise here and there. I'm liking the fact that it's mostly rockers and not bogged down with ballads. I've said my bit on "Let's Go" and my opinion hasn't changed. It is what it is and I like it enough.

"Dangerous" is a fun song. Sounds more at home on Euphoria than anywhere else. "Man Enough" is catchy as hell. Reminiscent of "Another One Bites the Dust", but in the Def Leppard universe, lyrically it's in the same league as "Make Love Like a Man" (hear me out!) and musically similar to "All Night". However, unlike said songs, doesn't creep me out or make me wanna puke.

"Invincible" is another standout at the moment and I don't know why. Joe sings in a lower monotone way (not quite as low as say "Work it Out") and there are some quite daft lyrics in there, but it's catchy.

"We Belong" is an ok ballad. It's interesting to hear all the guys sing on this one but I think I prefer the Alternative Vocal Take where it's just Joe singing. That way you can just take the song in as it is with its own merits. Sounds like something that should have been on X.

Despite the diversity, the production values remain consistent, which is great cause I think they nailed it with this album. Overall I'm getting a very Euphoria Part II impression with this album. Which makes sense because Euphoria was basically a "This is what Def Leppard is all about" kind of album.

I'm gonna need a few more listens cause the second half of the album is a bit of a blur to me at this stage and I'll probably regret half the things I've just said on this post!

Has anyone noticed that "Invincible" sounds just like "The Radio Saved My Life Tonight" from the Bon Jovi KTF sessions?

It reminds me of some song but not that one. May have to listen to it again now.

It's mostly the guitar parts, especially the intro. The overall tone of the song is similar too though.

Holy **** is already out? Will start listening right now. New Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams and AAR songs or albums. This'll be a good year.

Edit: listened to it just once, the two songs that I loved the most at the first listening were Dangerous and We Belong. Should listen to it again laster to give a proper review, as I don't even know the names of the other ones.

See if you think "Invincible" sounds like "The Radio Saved my Life Tonight" from the box set
