Was Mr Elliot true to his word? Does it sound like old Def Lep?

do you guys think that it will be pushed in the UK? Id love to see the leps back on top in the UK. Is there any chance of the album/singles being big hits over here???
Doubt it, sadly. Def Leppard could release their greatest album ever and I doubt anyone would notice now. Or people will just dismiss the new album out of hand purely because it's got "Def Leppard" written on the cover. Still you never now, with the right promotion, choice of singles, etc, we could see a respectable amount of success with this album.

I gotta be honest though, having listened to new new tracks, I extremely positive. Tomorrow sounds awesome. It's still another Euphoria-style, retreat-to-the-typical-sound album for them, but still, great. I think the majority of Leppard fans will like it.

Go and Tomorrow are really good.
Tomorrow's chorus reminds me of Torn To Shreads' one.
But GO is above any song on the record in my opinion.

The album is no pop like the previous ones.
Lots of guitar, but they're kind of dark than rocky.

Anyway i really enjoy this record.
If they stick with this sound, then they could deliver us great records again.
They just need to improve some songs.

Does it really need to? There are old Def Leppard CDs for that sort of thing.

Hey I never said I WANTED them to go back to their old ways. I was just wondering is Joe Elliot was being truthful when he said they were.

Why you don't want the sound from their most popular era?

Because if I want to listen to the sound from that era, I'll listen to Hysteria.

But the songs wouldn't be the same.

Yeah, and I doubt they'd be better.
I'm not saying I'd want them to radically change their sound or anything. Just that I'd rather something slightly different, as opposed to carbon copy stuff from 20 years ago.

Well who knows, maybe they can do some hits. Just see Aerosmith and AC/DC, some of their later material is good as the old material.
