I like it It's certainly one of the better songs on X, but I wouldn't go as far to say it's one of their best songs. It does sound alot like Hysteria (the song) to me though.

Although X ranks pretty low amongst all Def Leppard albums, there was some decent stuff on there, once you got past the poppy production and elements. Now was a killer song IMO, and I like For Letter Word, Cry, Gravity and, even though they didn't write it, Long Long Way To Go is one of my favourites off the album.

I think what let that album down was too many ballads though. The rockers were few and far between. And alot of people complain that it's too poppy like some of us to with recent Bon Jovi albums, but it still sounds like Def Leppard all the same. The guitar solos are still there and Joe's voice IMO sounded better than ever.

And at least the band ADMIT that it's a pop album.

Interesting way of looking at it. I always thought Nine Lives had more of a "Four letter word" vibe.

I can kinda see that also. But Nine lives to me seems to have the same kinda structure as You're So Beautiful.

Now, LLWTG and Torn are the best songs on X. You're right about it being too bland with ballads. Right now I've been listening to Slang, Euphoria and X (well the above three songs anyway). I'm kinda burnt out on 80's Def Leppard right now.

Billy's Got A Gun and Paper Sun are the ultimate Def Lep songs for me.

Paper sun is awesome, and is the only reason I keep going back to Euphoria (Promises is on their best off too)

Same. I've been burnt out on 80s Def Leppard for a long time and I only really listen to Retro Active onwards. To think Vault used to be on constant rotation in my stereo, now when I play it I'm almost bored.

Go is such a mammoth of a rock song, I applaud them for making it the opening track. Im considering just deleting the folder on my computer so I can have something fresh on the 26th but it's getting hard, I'm really digging it.
