Default Pearl Jam - Live at Benaroya Hall October 22, 2003

anybody heard anything off that album?

I saw it on sale today for $8.99 and regret not getting it.

On the other hand PJ has been pissing me off for a while now, so I don't know if it worth getting or not.

I so wanted to go to that concert, but it was a total rip-off. Hate them for it. Some guy at work here sold one ticket for $1,000!!!

I'll probably get it eventually, but at the moment I'm only familiar with about half the songs on it, so I'll get it once I recognise a bit more of it. Haven't heard very good reviews about it though

i saw it in CD Warehourse with my brother and he wanted me to get it but i said ill just download it. i still havnt had a chance but if i do and i like it ill buy it. i own about 40 of the 'official' bootlegs now on CD and you cant really fault them i mean not too many bands put out live albums these days, more than ever but still not enough. and when its meant to be something awsome and turns out to be OWN then your glad of things like this from PJ

It looks decent enough. Only seen one review and it was a good one. I'd like to see a few more though.
I'll end up getting it at some point this summer I'm sure.
£7.99 from here - Grab A Disc

There's a 'best of' to be released around Christmas time for anyone who didn't know and whoever's interested.

Are you sure? What's your source on that? Not only is it a distinctively un-Pearl Jam like thing to do, there is also nothing standing on the official website, and no speculation about it on the official messageboard

The latest issue of Classic Rock has an article on Pearl Jam. Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready playing a tribute to UFO, playing 6 UFO songs recently in Seattle.

The article finishes with -

Pearl Jam seem likely to have their first 'greatest hits' collection released at Christmas. The band, whose last studio album was 2002's 'Riot Act', announced their intention of splitting with long-time record label Sony last year. The company are understood to be compiling a track-listing for an as yet undetermined release date.

so, I got it. missed the sale of course and forked out $11.99, but what the heck.

It's actually better than I thought, afterall, I am not a fan of live albums.
