This tour he did a lot of soloing, as well as the guitarist in his band (played a lefty strat which was cool). Every song was better than the one before, and he's equally as good on acoustic, which I love to see.

He does have his own band. The Derek Trucks Band. Not exactly an original name but I've got one of his albums and there's a couple of decent tracks on them. Did know about the Allman Bros. Cheers for the info.
