Sure there was another thread about this?

Anyways - anyone got the new album that was released on Monday?

Bon Jovi - take note - its still OK to write songs with loud guitars!!!

Europe - take note - it's still OK to remain big and relevand even though it's not 80s anymore.

I am not trying to diss Europe, but they shouldn't be compared to Jovi. However, I will check out their new album. I am not too excited because I didn't like how the lead singer sounded in the Shepherd Bush DVD, but hey, he might sound great in studio.

Europe are making good albums. Check out the last two.
Jovi wouldn't have the balls to make albums like this.

Europe don't sound anything like the Final Countdown. Thier last two albums have been excellent and better than BJs last two efforts.

Bullshit. Joey has lost some of his high range, but he still sings a million times better than Jon could ever hope for. I've seen Europe live almost as many times as I've seen Bon Jovi and Europe has never disappointed me. Jovi have.

Yeah, I was wondering where that came from. I'm not a fan of Europe but their singer is pretty good, probably lost as much of his range as Jon did it in 1995.

The new album sounds very solid after a couple of listens. Modern sounding hard Rock with good hooks. I would kill for Jovi to release something like this.
