Default Europe / Thin Lizzy

Hi guys

Just in case some of you Jovi fans are also fans of Europe or Thin Lizzy, I have written some reviews on their latest shows and also an interview with Joey Tempest. I have copied the links to the SouthSonic website where they are posted. I'm really trying to get my music writing off the ground, woud be great if you could check them out!

Thanks,
Alaina

I bet there are many people who just think that Europe only have Final Countdown - just like Jovi and Prayer.

Europe are awesome. The new album Last Look at Eden rocks.

Thin Lizzy........er well....he is dead so pretty pointless if you ask me. But Ricky Warrick has an awesome voice and the Almighty were fantastic.
Had a few beers with Ricky and Ginger Wildheart (GOD!!) a few times in North London - Top blokes.

no im not. Dont know why?
I normally see everything that Ginger is involved in.
He is releasing details of some accoustic shows soon.
Also he is doing his birthday gig again 17/12
The Ginger Wildheart Mutation album should be out in the summer.
Love this bloke.

I actually haven't heard anything by The Wildhearts. My brother likes them, though, and he said when he saw the Michael Monroe band support someone, they were really good. Ginger is from my hometown so I really should listen and see to his work and see if he is someone I can be proud of haha!

Yep, totally agree, the review above is on the Last look at Eden album and it is fantastic.
Got an interview I've done recently with Ricky Warwick being posted soon!

You jest?
Start with Earth Vs, PHUQ then the masterpiece Fishing For Luckies.
They have about 10 albums in all. I have everything they have ever done plus rare b-sides and EPs. Wildhearts or Solo stuff - it dont matter - Ginger is probably the best song writer of the last 20 years. How he isnt bigger Ill never know.

Europe are a great band. I´ve been listening to their music since I was a teenager. I think LLAE is an amazingly strong album, the guy still knows how to sing and the guitars are louder and heavier than ever on their albums.

In 1987, in my class, there were 2 distinct points of view. Whether you liked Europe or you liked Bon Jovi. At that time, it was a little bit cooler to like Bon Jovi, though.

Both are fine bands. Bring back the 80´s.
