I just saw this band tonight on the telly and could not believe my ears! Had I not known that the song I heard (not the one up for downloading, incidentally, but another one, called One Single Breath) was released just a couple of months ago, I could have sworn it was some forgotten hair metal gem from the golden 80's...

The guitarist, Emppu Vuorinen, is more famous from his other band, Nightwish, and this is apparently his so called "therapy project", lol.

The band has their debut out and the title is...wait for it... False Metal.

Yep, False Metal is excellent. You might also want to check a band called Leverage, and their album Tides. Both bands have the same singer, Pekka Heino. You can hear clips of the Leverage songs here.

I just had a listen and Leverage definitely have a heavier sound (less keyboards) compared to Brother Firetribe, which is by no means a bad thing, it sounded very good indeed. I think I'll have to check this band out, too. Thanks!
