Default A-Ha

Anyone here like a-ha?

WELL I DO AND I'M NOT ASHAMED TO ADMIT IT.

Seriously man, they rock. Take On Me is obviously very good but The Sun Always Shines On TV is 100x better. And I prefer the video to Take On Me's too

Anyway years ago I bought my mum their definitive collection (I'm such a cool son ) but I only bought it for her so I could listen to The Sun Always Shines On TV. And years later I finally remember my plan and I ripped the CD onto the laptop.

So I listened to the whole CD AND IT'S SO MIND-BLOWINGLY AWESOME! Train Of Thought it isn't poppy but it's so gooooood, and their cover of Crying In The Rain is 100x better than the original. I haven't actually heard the original though so that's an advantage to a-ha.

Oh and if I could be anyone in the world it would so be Dolly Parton. But Morten Harket, the frontman, would be my second choice. He is the definition of cool, especially in The Sun Always Shines On TV video, the way he moves, it's so slick, and his hair -MEOW!

And his voice, how beautiful. He's so dreamy. If I were a woman/gay/bi/out of the closet I'd want him even more than I already do.

Watch the whole of this video, you'll see what I mean!

Yeah, all you people with your Zac Effrons - PFFFT, Moten is the man!

Oh and a-ha are releasing a new album this year so hopefully they'll tour WOOT WOOT!

Neither... never even liked Take On Me that much -- the stuff that I've heard, granted it isn't much, is too soft. Boring as ****.

Trust Oliver to like em.

I've listened to a lot of a-Ha. I have most of the early albums on cassettes and I have the Headlines and Deadlines -compilation. My favourites are from the first two albums, but I think East of the Sun and West of the Moon was a good album. Don't like that much of their newer songs, though the MTV hit was ok.

It is a great song. I remember our Paul had it on his PC and after like 2 weeks, the play count for that song was something like 230 haha. I used to listen to it non-stop. So did my dad. He loves it just as much as me.

Shannon Noll isn't soft you oompa <_< He's practically a clone of Bryan Adams, and BA ain't soft either.

By soft I don't mean they have lots of ballads, I mean they're just really, really, really soft-lite AORish which I can't stand.
