Default GNR - Live Era

What does everyone think of this live album? I've been listening to it non-stop lately. I am in love with it!!!! The magic within this band is awesome and the cmemistry is perfect. If only the old Guns N' Roses were together! Slash is a guitar hero!!

To bad that it is full of overdubs all over the record... It's way to much studio magic on that live album...

I don't believe that as it was put together when the band had been apart for a long time. None of them was really involved. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The album is superb right from the start with the excellent version of "Nightrain" which rocks me off my socks each time.

The "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" Version is from the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and had already been released on a single from the Use Your Illusion Era but the mix sounded slightly different, the crowd was more in the forefront, which I liked better.

I wonder if anyone knows from which tours/eras/shows the songs have been taken?

It's ok, but Axl went back to the studio and redid some of the vocals, supposedly. Either way, Axl is too much of a perfectionist to release a good live album without changing it. I prefer live albums from like one concert, hence The Goo Goo Dolls live in Buffalo, one amazing concert, put right on CD and DVD
