Greatest Hits Volume Two: B-sides and Rarities is the twelth album by the America rock band, The Goo Goo Dolls, and will be released on the August 5th, 2008. It will consist of two discs; one with 23 previously unreleased tracks, b-sides, rarities, new covers and live performances, the other a DVD with 24 music videos and vides from live performances.

I'm assuming Disc 2 is a DVD. I'm glad those old promo's are getting an official release. They're so hard to find as .mpg.

Big Machine video isn't on there though.

I'm Awake Now is the greatest Goo Goo Dolls song EVER!!! I just want to go on record saying that. That song was such a bitch to find about 8 years ago. At the time, it was only released on the soundtrack for "Freddy's Dead"

A lot of fans are disappointed in this set. I can see why, as there aren't a lot of rarities on it. However, there are a few songs I'm psyched to have remastered:

Hate This Place, Stop The World, I'm Awake Now, Million Miles Away

Couple of rarities on there as well.

I don't get why they say "one with 23 previously unreleased tracks, b-sides, rarities, new covers and live performances"

13 of those songs don't fit any of those descriptions.

At least we get a DVD of videos which some are almost impossible to find in good quality.

The release date has been pushed back to August 5th.

Probably trying to milk sales of the 1st one.

I still can't beieve they're putting Give A Little Bit on this one. Enough already. When they released Ego, Art.....a few years back, I thought that was the coolest collection of songs. Now they're just putting anything they have left on there.
