**** that. the only guys i know who make a living from playing music are either good enough to get signed to a proper indie who can put out enough to get them in the charts, and even then they still have to work now n again. the only guys i know who do music full time are in covers bands or perpared to do stuff that they might not necesarilly love doing and this includes a dude from one of the signed bands i know who auditioned for busted and mcfly.
you won't find anyone near as passionate about music as him but it's the music business not the music charity and he, i and very few others realise that.

Blink 182 was a punk band... You can't deny that. But what you are comparing here doesn't make sense. Blink 182 showed the fans the punk side. (Dude Ranch, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, etc) But they have well shown their tamed down side such as their latest album. After hearing Busted and seeing Busted... You can conclude from what you hear and see that they are a Boy Band with a Wannabe-Punk-Attitude. They might be passionate about the music, but you are backing up their credibility. The only reason why they are popular is because the silly little 12 year old girls who think they are the next best thing. Just like the 12 year olds back in the late 90's with the rising of Boy Bands.
