Default Hysteria - Def Leppard

Did anyone watch classic albums this week (uk)?? It was a programme about the making of Hysteria by Def Leppard and it was really interesting. I didnt realise so many of their best songs were on that album (Hysteria, love bites, animal, rocket, pour some sugar etc). I wanted to Buy a DL album and i was gonna get their greatest hits, but il think il buy this one instead

I have that Classic Albums DVD and it is excellent. It was interesting to hear those early demos and then how they turned into great songs. I wish that they would make similar show about Bon Jovi. And you should buy Hysteria. It is the best album ever made. IMO.

That album is incredible! It's one of the best albums I've ever heard, in my opinion. If you like Def Leppard, buy it. You won't be sorry.

I like When Love And Hate Collide a lot. Um, does anyone know which ALBUM (I know it's on the greatest hits already) Two Steps Behind is on? That's a great song too!

Two Steps Behind isn't on a regular Def Lep CD. It's from the soundtrack for the Arnold Shwarzenager movie "The Last Action Hero". It's a pretty good soundtrack (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Tesla, Queensryche), but the movie totally sucks. It's perhaps one of the worst Arnold movies EVER!!!

Two Steps Behind is in:
- Retroactive (the B side collection)
- Last Action Hero Soundtrack
- Vault

There are 2 versions of the song in Retroactive.

this is one of the best records ever, and one of my favourites dl's albums. it's recorded on the 80's (1986, i think), but if you listen to it the production and the sound are incredible. nowadays, i can't found any record from any artist who has this clear and incredible sound. even dl has failed in recovering the sound.

all the songs on it are very good, and it's impossible to see any mistakes on them. maybe too much production in some of them (rocket).

in conclusion, a record to be listened to again and again. after the years, you can discover new things in it.

I watched it, it was very good. It kept reminding me of Spinal Tap though.
