MTO News: Beyonce has one of the most dedicated fan bases in the world. The(y)...collectively call themselves the Bee-hive, support everything that Beyonce does - and attack anyone who goes against the Queen...Well now the Beehive have turned on their master.
Beyonce and Jay Z did in fact perform...at the Global Citizens festival in South Africa...(B)ut less than half of their concert aired on TV and streaming services. That meant that most of Bey's fans were NOT able to see much of her show...
Here's the official statement from event organizers (Twitter, Dec 1):
Quote:
The full performance of Beyonce and Jay Z is exclusive to those who have earned their tickets to be inside the stadium on the day. DStv customers will be able to enjoy the first 25 minutes of their performance.

Here is the Beyhive's response:

A meme is born: Plenty more at
#BoycottBeyonce and
#BeyonceIsOverParty, LOL!
When Bon Jovi promised to webcast portions of their live concerts, we never complained! But maybe that's because they would announce it more like this:
Quote:
"Bon Jovi has a wonderful surprise to thank their supportive fans: since the concert has sold out, they'll be webcasting its first 25 minutes worldwide."

DStv's statement sounds like it was written by Ebenezer Scrooge, LOL! And why not broadcast it to non-DStv customers as well -- the worst that could happen is that they decide to
become DStv customers! Whether the decision was made by Z-eyonce, Global Citizens, or DSTV, somebody messed up
big time: what should have been a relationship-enhancing gift came across as a negative punishment.
