Without these "GET IN FOR FREE" thing, kiss would see half emtpy arenas. that“s the truth.
i saw them live yesterday evening at rock am ring at mtv, it wasn“t that great i think
the audiance was borded to.. there big time is over.
So when KISS want more money, they're greedy and when they don't they're has beens? You're a sad individual.

KISS has sold tickets better in the Europe than Bon Jovi have. Most of the O2 tickets are still not sold and they probably will not be sold because the ticket prices are so ridiculous. They want more money? Fine, but don't rip off your fans.

KISS is donating a dollar for every sold ticket on the North American tour to the Wounded Warriors. And all children under 14 will get in for free. Money making machine? I don't think so.

Dont know if you are aiming this comment at me but I was jokingly calling BRIGHTON84 greedy for going to eight shows.
I actually posted a comment about good ticket pricing by KISS when the uk tour was announced. Apart from the meet and greet all tickets were £40/£45 wherever you were in the venue. Excellent value IMO and a great concert as well!

There werent any buy one get one free tickets in the UK and most were almost full. By the way isnt there a mention of buy one get one free tickets for BJ at the 02 on this board, does that mean their time is over as well?

Lets not fall out...

Obsessed KISS fan here but even i admit that Jovi sell more tickets, albums etc,but that doesnt make them better. As quite rightly stated KISS tickets for this years tour were reasonably priced,Jovis on the other hand are scandalous.I received a 2 for 1 offer in my email box the other day for the Jovi shows, cant say im surprised.
Music is an amazing thing, different bands for different people, they can write the soundtrack to your life. When it comes down to it if you want to see your heroes so bad you will pay the price asked.Ive no problem with anyone making that choice but once a band has set the bar so high and its proved profitable its very rare that prices will be dropped the next tour around!!
Anyhow did i tell you about the times i saw Jovi support KISS.....They werent always bigger!!

1,2,3,4,4,6...16 words in and you're already wrong!

Bon Jovi hasnt sold half as much as KISS have, Gene has KISS merchandise EVERYWHERE!!!!!

On a serious note, KISS, for their age they are out of this world! ok maybe ace and peter arent involved but still, the show must go on!

I think, well its been said many a time by various bands, that KISS were a HUGE influence on many of the 80s bands. Therefore, for me, they deserve not only respet but gratitude and Paul and Gene deserve ( and personally i think have the right to) to control the band and keep rocking all night and partyin every day!

KISS is the NUMBER 1 entertainment band EVER!

If merchandise floats your boat thats fine, but Jovi are streets ahead in ticket and record sales,Jovi are a stadium band Kiss very rarely sell out stadiums.
No one can deny KISS their place in rock history,a KISS concert is an unforgettable experience.Gene and Paul dont still move around like its the 70's,believe me they were a lot more energetic back then. That said you wont ever go to a KISS show these days and see the band going through the motions as was the case when Ace and Peter were around..
