Hahaahaha.

I can't comment on Kiss's music/performance. I don't think I know like...anything by them? But this comment is obviously true.

I saw KISS live twice in Helsinki and while they weren't the best shows I've seen, they were still better than most of the other bands out there. KISS still puts on a show and even if you don't like their music, you can still enjoy the show. And you need to experience a KISS show on the floor level, the seats are not good enough. I know, I tried. The whole atmosphere is so much better among the GA-crowd and the stage looks so much better.

And say what you will, but Paul Stanley wipes the floor with the Jon in Helsinki, both vocal- and entertainer-wise.

Sorry Ice, didn't mean that 100%
I was just pissing with Born To Run at his own game.
Like I said before I don't like KISS, but I'm not gonna trash them. They have to do something right to still be around at this point.

The real Kiss fans (which I am definitely not) wouldnīt appreciate my opinions but Iīve always kind of liked their 80īs stuff. Thatīs the actual period in the Kiss history that most fans would like to forget about.

Paul Stanley wrote songs with Desmond Child long before Desmond started to collaborate with Jon and Richie. I Was Made for Loving You, Heavenīs On Fire, Who Wants To Be Lonely, Reason To Live and so on. Not necessarily masterpieces all of them but mostly decent hard rock songs. I read somewhere that Jon liked Heavenīs On Fire quite a lot ( just listen to In&Out of Love and Heavenīs On Fire back to back...).

Of course, the songs DC wrote with Kiss didnīt become memorable career-defining highlights. On the other hand, DC had a crucial effect on Bon Joviīs success.

That said, these days Kiss is merely a joke.

Pretty brave card for you to play, considering this is your, what, 10th account?

And I've made my stance on Kiss clear numerous times, haha. I dig their music but won't support them dressing someone else up as Ace, playing his style. I haven't seen Kiss since the so called farewell tour. Not because I haven't wanted to, they just haven't been back to Toronto since. I'm pretty curious to see what they're like now with Eric and Tommy, now that they can pretty much play any song in the catalouge but could never afford to pay off that much money to see them pretend Ace and Peter are still there.
