I have too many to be able to work it out, but IN RAINBOWS! An absolute shower of forgettable, dull, meandering garbage. No drive or intensity or passion, AWFUL!

(IMO )

Well I'm not a Radiohead fan, but that was aimed at In Rainbows specifically.

1. Swallow The Sun; Hope

The title track truly was my 2007 anthem.

After that:

3. Ensiferum; Victory Songs
4. Dark Tranquillity; Fiction
5. Hanging Garden; Inherit The Eden
6. Finntroll; Ur Jordens Djup
7. Mors Principium Est; Liberation=Termination
8. November's Doom; The Novella Reservoir
9. Moonsorrow; V: Havitetty
10. Before the Dawn; Deadlight

I didn't really buy many albums from 2007, mostly just catching up on disco. of other bands, but I would put "Lost Highway" and "Magic" at the top of my list.

Also, Gotthard's "Domino Effect" and Magnum's "Princess Alice and the Broken Arrow" were really good.

Magic - Bruce Springsteen
Libertad - Velvet Revolver
Lost Highway - Bon Jovi

Springsteen is all class as usual. VR's great to rock out to (probably my favourite along with GNR for when I'm mad at the world, haha). I like LH but considering the kind of personal experiences they had to draw from, it could have been a better (deeper) album.

Don't think I bought that many new albums in 07... Got some older stuff like Bat Out of Hell (30th anniversary) etc.

I was really disapointed with this years efforts from Bon Jovi (too slow), Velvet Revolver (waaaaay too tame, where's the intensity of Contraband gone!?), Avenged Sevenfold (too modern, sell-out), and Bullets & Octane (where's the punk edge gone?)

so, the best of a bad bunch:

Clutch - From Beale Street To Oblivion
Black Rebel Motorcycle - Baby 81
Dogs - Tall Stories From Under The Table
John Butler Trio - Grand National
Satellite Party - Ultra Payloaded
