Maximo Park - they were awesome. The Octagon doesn't hold many people but last night I'm pretty sure everyone was rockin', it was so hot and sweaty!

I agree. I was a bit of a neutral before I saw the footage of them from Leeds (they were playing same time as Pearl Jam so naturally I was elsewhere) and they looked awesome. Paul Smith is a very energetic frontman and it really rubbed off onto the crowd. They've got some great anthems. I definitely recommend them.

Well I was supposed to see Keith Urban on Friday but because of his entering rehab that was cancelled.
But we did get to see Kevin Costner's band (yes THAT Kevin Costner) who also had a show at Mohegan Sun that night. LOL

I don't think they know how to put on a bad show. I saw them several times this year and they were excellent.

InMe supported by Brigade and Death For A Day ... I was pretty drunk (it was my birthday, I'm allowed to be!) so of course I had alot of fun but it means I missed some of the stuff I would have paid more attention to if I'd been sober. Still, it rocked, I managed to get almost right to the front, it was an awesome tiny venue, and they really have some great songs, even though they played a few too many new ones IMO ... and, erm, the last song, Chamber, may have made me cry ....
