Bad Obsession (Guns N' Roses tribute)

OR, if you want a real band, Sensei were supporting them (they were awful)

OR, if you want a known band, Velvet Revolver back in January (Queen in a couple weeks though )

Glad ya liked it Seb! Alex probably didn't like it because a lot of Knopfler's solo stuff is quite mellow in comparison with Dire Straits and takes a lot of listening to get into them. I think a lot of the songs are just as good, but they're not made for the top 40 and not easy on the casual listener's ears. I haven't seen him yet, but I've just got my tickets for the 26th of may in Manchester. What kind of stuff did he play? I hear it's gonna be half his solo stuff and half the Dire Straits classics? Looking forward!

As for the last band I saw, that would be Hair Of The Dog on Friday night. Who....? LOL, my Uncle's band who play covers. They're really good and did great versions of Wanted Dead or Alive, My Sharona, Whole Lotta Love, The Real Thing, Fat Bottomed Girls, Are You Gonna Go My Way, etc. They're guitarist is shit hot! Some of they're own songs sound quite good, but I prefer the covers cuz I know em better. :P

That is truly cool Crash. How was the sound? How many people did fit?

The sound was very good I thought and it was a real intimate show, about 500 people I guess.
They are doing a reprise this fall, so if you happen to be in Germany...

The last concert I saw was Bon Jovi back in '03. I don't got to many concerts.
