Back from 3 days of Sasquatch!

Friday:
HIM - probably would have been better if I had known any of his songs
Bauhaus - not impressed.
caught the end of Wolfmother but was in no position to really see how they were ... though I really meant to check them out.
NIN ---- ****ING AWESOME - I am in love with Trent Reznor (for a while at least)

Saturday:
David Ford - simply amazing. What a guy!!!!!
Caught in a hailstorm - drenched from hip to toes - bailed for the rest of the day and crashed at 8pm till 8am.
missed: Tragically Hip, The Shins (though am not sorry), The Flaming Lips, Ben Harper... sigh...

Sunday:
Big City - great - gotta go and look for their stuff
Nada Surf - nice - gotta get their stuff
Pretty Girls Make Graves - I just don't like them, don't get any better with each show either
Ben Lee - seemed pretty good
Arctic Monkey - NICE - very nice
The Decemberists - I just don't get them... boring
Matisyahu - what an idiot..... what a total idiot!
Queens of the Stoneage - YES! Gotta love Josh Homme - he is so 'sensible and never outrageous' lol

LOL. I still love Josh anyway. Did you tell him I said hi?

Didn't know Nada Surf still existed, btw.

I did and he played 'burn the witch' He really is quite cool and I am sure the security guards hate him.

You have no idea how cute you are!!

He started out with "I don't care" [and I was thinking of you the entire time], played "state of the union" and "cheer up you miserable ****" - he played more but those were the only ones I recognized. He had about a 30 minute set, so there wasn't too much time.

He talked about his wife and how he misses her *yawn*. What was amazing though is that despite the few attendees he really put in a ton of emotions. Which came over really nice and probably what drew in the other people walking by.

It was a bit weird as I think most of the music was recorded and he'd just start up an instrument and the recording took over? So, he'd start the guitar and drop it and the guitar sound was still playing - same with the piano... I guess it is what you do when you don't have a spare band with you?

I didn't realize he was that short. (and he is kind of a dork )

http://music.msn.com/music/sasquatch...6473&fc_c=8547

Day 2 at about 1:30 is when the hail storm hits and you can see the people in the crowd go mad - you can also see with what force the hail came down - bouncing off the people....

If you watch the 'behind the scenes' you get some cool images of the stage and the gorge and stuff.

I didn't read this until now. And you still dared to tell me I (*I*!!) am thoughtless?
