it was very good, not great ( ), but very good! I thought the set was a little short, but then again I really don't know how long their setlists usually are. They played for about an hour 40 minutes. I almost freaked out when they played Run to the Water, I love that song And Mystery sounded great, too! The crowd at Massey Hall was pretty amazing, at least the people on floor level. They were so loud... great Having said that, I hated the fact that Massey Hall was only about half occupied. So many seats were empty and that kind of got me down a little. But on the positive side, we got brilliant seats (the ones we originally had were really crappy and security told us we could move anywhere we wanted as so many seats were unsold lol). So we ended up pretty much in the middle of the balcony with an awesome view. I might be exaggerating here, but I think Chad and Ed recognized me, they waved at me a few times. Or then again, it could have been because me and Mike were the only ones dancing or asses off on the balcony
I would have loved to hear Overcome, although I know chances for that a quite slim.

But the show was very good, Chad was even better than I remembered! Can't wait to see them again (hopefully with a longer set lol). Oh and Sara, you should read the comments on the friendoflive message board, everyone there totally loved the show. So I guess from the floor level the atmosphere was better

I guess that's pretty avarage, 1h45 to 2h for a LIVE show. Over here we're pretty spoiled though, they just seem to love the country, we got they're longest ever show, lasting 2h45, 30 songs, 3 encores, last month ! You should try to get to a LIVE gig in The Netherlands if you really love the band, supposedly it's the best place to witness Ed & his guys .

Again - try and get to the Netherlands if you're desperate to hear the song I don't remember a concert overhere without Overcome being played!

Yeh, I read a review on another LIVE board of someone who had been to the show and was very excited ! LIVE seems to be in a very good mood this tour, lots of the somewhat pessimistic fans are completely back with the band. I have seen them 3 times this year, two of the gigs without a doubt being my two favourite concerts ever . Glad you had a good time anyway, even though things could be better!

a couple of days ago i saw whitesnake and the scorpions. whitesnake (even though i like them more than the scorpions) weren't good and the sound was terrible. the scorpions were better but we had to move back in the arena because the front was full of stupid 15 year olds that were throwing bottles and pushing each other.
unfortunately the stones canceled their concert here.

Bon Jovi last night...BUT, before that, since this is other bands, OzzFest, Sunday July 16. Ozzy, Lacuna Coil, Avenged Seven Fold, ...some other people..., Disturbed, and System Of A Down. SOAD was AMAZING!!! Glad I saw them before they go on hiatus, wish I had better seats.
