No, he's not. Being as he's not a member of the band anymore and all. He wasn't there when I saw them in June. Seeing them again on Sunday, hope he's there then!

Well, it certainly was an experience, let's put it that way! Support acts weren't really to my liking but anyway after they'd left the stage we had to wait an hour and 40 mins for G n R. It was absolutely boiling in the SECC, people began pushing towards the front of the stage and everyone had sweat dripping off their faces. Fans were started to get bored of waiting so people began to boo and chant "Riot!" Finally at about 10ish they came on stage and everyone went completely crazy. All of the fans who were in the standing section began to jump up and down so there was a massive surge and everyone was forced forwards. It was actually quite scary because I lost my footing and being surrounded by all these guys who were 6'6'' I was worried about being trampled. So I had to force my way out to the back of the crowd which took about 5 mins and by that time I was suffering from severe dehydration! I can't believe that place has no air-conditioning whatsoever! Axl asked everyone to take a step back from the stage because people were fainting/ being crushed and had to be pulled over the barrier.

Anyway, I managed to recover slightly at the back and forced myself to stand up for as long as possible. Songs were really good although there were quite a lot of guitar solos which probably could have been missed out. They played a few songs off the new album and had a lot of fireworks as stage effects. Best songs of the night were Sweet Child O' Mine, You Could Be Mine, November Rain, Paradise City and Used To Love Her. A good concert, I kind of wish that I'd gone for a seated ticket though!

Probably close to 3.5 hours including the breaks between the encores. They must have taken the stage soon after 7pm and we got to our car at 10:20 while they started Yellow Ledbetter.
