Ryan Adams and The Cardinals

The good parts:

Ryan actually showed up
he seemed sober
he remembered the lyrics

The bad parts:

Getting on stage an hour late without an opening act cramps my style
The limited edition poster designed and printed for the Seattle show only, depicting a Starbucks drink with the green logo on the front being the Easy Tiger logo looked much cooler at the venue than in my house
Easy Tiger sucks
Country music and anything remotely/abstractly resembling it verges on artistic insult.

Went to see Kanye West in at Edinburgh Corn Exchange last night, absolutley loved it!!! Ten times better than when he played at Glasgow SECC a few years ago.

Foo Fighters, Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh, and Nine Inch Nails as a support act (which is pretty weird, but means they're the best support act I've ever seen.....lol)

Velvet Revolver last night. We were in the 2nd row. I got a pick from Slash. It was awesome.

Although it is funny/interesting/sad how the best songs by far were not VR songs but Patience and Mr. Brownstone.

Just back from the Living End at Nottingham. Absolutely fantastic to be at a real rock'n'roll show, complete with dank, fat bastards and the best damn rockabilly guitar you ever heard.

Typically a couple of tools in the crowd shouting for "old stuff" all night then, instead of cheering the band to return to the stage after the set, calling "come on you ****ing wankers. You've been ****ing shit."

Bloody people!

Yeah, I find that with Velvet Revolver....everyone wants to hear the G'n'R stuff....lol. They played Patience???? OMG, I'd probably freak if I heard them play that. It's always been It's So Easy and Mr. Brownstone the 3 times I've seen them,

Although there cover of Wish You Were Here is awesome (heard them play that twice).
