(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Deep Purple @ the NEC, awful gig, the support band The Crave were better. The only highlight for purple was guitarist Steve Morse who is so underated

I saw David Cook in Mobile Tuesday night. He did a great job. He's a very competent vocalist. It was the 150th show of the tour and he still sounded amazing. Green River Ordinance and The Script were opening acts.

Worked a simple minds gig last night and they were fantastic, i hadn't really heard much of theirs apart from Dont You (Forget About Me) but i still really enjoyed the show, the lights and that were fantastic. OMD supported and they were pretty good too

I saw Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam at a little venue here in Atlanta on Thursday night. Amazing, amazing show. Davy looks like a kid on-stage . . . until he starts to play the guitar and sing. At that point, you realize that an old soul lives inside the guy. The set list was a really nice mix of 8 songs from the band's two CDs, 1 new song that they haven't recorded yet and 7 covers (mix of classic rock and blues). I took video of a few songs, but unfortunately the sound isn't as good as I might have hoped. (Too close to some speakers.)

I Shot The Sheriff -

Amber's Song (beautiful song from the band's second album) -

Cortez The Killer (absolutely blew me away) -

Pistol Slapper Blues & As The Crow Flies (just Davy playing a vintage National Triolian Resonator Guitar) -

In A Little While (the new song - sound really sucks on this one) -

Davy Knowles is from the Isle of Man, and I keep wondering if some of you have seen him or know of him. I've mentioned him a few times on the board, but only Avantasian has responded to one of my posts.

BTW, my ticket for this show cost $19.50 (with the fees). What a steal!
