I went to see Nine Inch Nails at Manchester Apollo last night, what an incredible live sound they have. The set wasn't perfect for me (It was the second night at the Apollo so maybe sets were varied) and the place was so pumped full of dry ice you couldn't see the band for most of the show (Not an exaggeration). Maybe this was deliberate, it had to be, but it did detract from the experience for me. I didn't pay £30 a ticket to look at a light show with just the odd glimpse of a sillhouette of Trent Reznor.
Highlights of the show were Head Like a Hole, March Of The Pigs and an amazing performance of Hurt. They also did the Joy Division cover from The Crow soundtrack which sounded amazing as well.
